Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this section is to specify a backup generator module for use by Petersburg Municipal Power and Light to supplement the existing standby power serving the Petersburg Borough. This specification prefers a 3.5MW (minimum) Prime power genset. Lightly used gensets are acceptable, subject to specific requirements. Unit must be complete with engine, generator, skid, and pertinent accessories. Additive Option 1 allows submission of a drop-on enclosure, or similar equivalent enclosure for outdoor installation. Additive Option 2 allows submission of a transformer to convert from generation voltage to distribution voltage. Additive options may be awarded by the Borough at its sole discretion and in any order which provides the Borough with the most desirable project. All materials shall be suitable for installation in Petersburg, Alaska.
