Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.The Agency of Digital Services (ADS) is seeking to implement a hosted solution that shall manage inventory of hardware equipment that is utilized by the State of Vermont’s workforce. This includes laptops, desktop computers, monitors, printers and other hardware items. The solution shall track the receiving and deployment of hardware as well as address the following, but not limited to, requirements listed below: Receipt of products received from suppliers Track deployment of products to internal State entities Reminders/notifications of order when inventory items are low Customized labeling of fields and drop-down menus. Ability to create Ad Hoc reports for inventory tracking, billing and reporting Ability to deploy partial orders with clear clarification of when an order still has outstanding items. Allow more than one person at a time to update product information and be in the solution. Error notification when duplicate items have been entered. Bar code scanner capabilities for serial number entries. Tracking of returned items and a credit generation for billing. 2.2. The instance can be hosted on either the State’s or vender’s cloud. 2.3. If equipment is offered as part of the bid response, it must be vetted and certified for the State’s network. 2.4. Data recovery is only needed for data stored in the vendor’s system. The vendor shall provide data recovery services for their system in case of an event. The State does not back up data from the proposed hosted solution.
