Concentrated live load of one thousand five hundred (1,500) pounds vehicle weight on bridge plus thirty percent (30%) impact. Minimum wind load of twenty-five (25) pounds per square foot (psf). Snow load of seventy (70) pounds per square foot (psf). Railing load of fifty (50) pounds per linear foot (lbs/lf) of horizontal load and two-hundred-pound (200 ) pound point load at any location of rail. Mounting plates shall allow for thermal expansion. Dimensions and Requirements: Span: nominal inside clear distance between inside edges of footers = forty (40) feet and zero (0) Inches. Width: minimum width between railings measured perpendicular to the bridge centerline at any point across the span = four (4) feet and zero (0) inches minimum. Railings: Install for full length of bridge. Decking: Provide a minimum bolt space pattern of twelve (12) inches on centers along the bridge span and twenty-four (24) inches on centers across the width of the bridge. Rub rails: Bridge shall include rub rails of the same materials as the bridge. Nominal two (2) inch by six (6) inch (2" x 6") rub rails on the inside of bridge shall be placed forty-two (42) inches above the top of the bridge deck. Rub rails shall not impede on the minimum width stated above.
