Specifications include, but are not limited to: The goal of this funding opportunity is to invest in small behavioral health agencies by funding those with an operating annual budget of $500,000 or less, to assist in pursuing the next appropriate milestone necessary to advance behavioral health services in Bernalillo County. The intention is to build capacity and continuing behavioral health services. This will diversify services available to the community by investing in smaller behavioral health agencies to provide effective services for community members, families, and individuals with behavioral health needs in Bernalillo County. The Bernalillo County Behavioral Health Initiative will promote partnerships and provide technical assistance to build a continuum of behavioral health services of care. Capital and/or startup funds will be available for up to three years with decreasing percentages each year encouraging providers to establish scalability over time. Each provider will be asked to provide a scalability plan to ensure service delivery continues beyond the life of these contracts. Eligible applicants include small behavioral health providers and nonprofits in Bernalillo County with an annual operating budget of less than $500,000 and have not been previously funded under the Behavioral Health Initiative. The capital and/or startup service is a long-term investment to build upon, add to, or improve existing behavioral health services. Behavioral health interventions should be evidencebased or promising practice. Multiple applications may be awarded. Bernalillo County Behavioral Health Initiative is invested in the integration of behavioral health services and welcomes proposals for capital and/or startup services to increase the availability of sustainable behavioral health services.
