All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Mowing and trimming will occur from around May 22, 2021 until August 28, 2021. There may be some flexibility with the start and end dates, with the result being a total of 16 weeks with permission from The Park Manager. Start and end dates for offered extensions will be set by the Department before the start of the season. • All mowing of the park should be substantially complete by 9:00 a.m., before park visitors arrive. • Variations to mowing times can be discussed with the Park Manager during slow public use days, etc. • All mowing and trimming should be complete prior to the weekend • No mowing/ trimming will be performed during heavy public use days unless prior permission is given by the Park Manager. • Mow and trim all previously mowed areas as shown in the attached map within the outlined areas. • Frequency of mowing will be determined by the Park Manager but in general the mowing and/or trimming will occur once a week. In times of drought mowing may occur only once every two weeks with agreement from the Park Manager. • Trim grass around all sign posts, boulder guards, fencing, picnic tables, parking bumpers and other structures that are mowed around. Trimming should be done at least every other mow; frequency of trimming will be determined by the Park Manager. • Litter and trash must be removed from all mowing areas prior to mowing to prevent being mowed over creating a further mess. • Grass clippings that are in the roadways, pathways, any walkways, or parking lots will be removed; all areas will be cleared of debris. • Grass clippings will be disposed of off park property, or in area of the park mutually agreed upon with the Park Manager.
