Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Brewer is requesting quotes for supplying uniform rental and uniform cleaning service to the Public Works Department employees for a sixty (60) month period. The service will consist of 11 dungaree style pants with the City employees having a choice of either regular fit or relaxed fit Wrangler Hero, Carhartt B460 relaxed fit, Carhartt B171 carpenter jeans or equivalent dungarees. Employee’s shirts and tee shirts shall be OSHA approved high visibility lime yellow class 2 minimum. The tee shirts shall also be birdseye breathable/moisture wicking polyester mesh. Employees may choose any combination of shirts such as 6 tees with 6 short sleeve and 11 long sleeve, 11 tees with 11 short sleeve, or 11 short sleeve with 11 long sleeve etc. so long as the total does not exceed 22 total shirts. The vehicle maintenance employees will receive 3 – 100% cotton coveralls or 3 – Bernie Gasoline Jackets (or equivalent) and their long sleeve shirts, short sleeve and/or pocket tee shirts will all be 100% cotton. The mechanics uniform shirt color will be a shade of dark green. All colors to be chosen by the City of Brewer.
