Materials specified herein shall meet all requirements of the latest revision of the American Water Works Association C515 Standard for Reduce Wall Resilient- seated Cut-In Valves. Deliveries shall be made between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on normal City of Lincoln workdays. 7.1 Valves shall be Non-Rising Stem (NRS) design. 7.2 Gasket seat dimensions must meet minimum specified requirements described in Bid Attachment #1 combined with support both Plain End Gaskets and Duck Tipped Gaskets dependent on water main O.D. (Outside Diameter). 7.3 Valves shall be designed for a minimum working pressure of 200 psi and be tested at a minimum hydrostatic pressure of 400 psi. 7.4 Seat and gate shall seat on both sides and the edge to form a double seat with no movement of the seat when compressed to shutoff. 7.5 Any cavities in the gate shall drain fully. 7.6 All valves shall be provided with a minimum of 2 "O" ring seals above the thrust collar and 1 below the thrust collar.
