Specifications include, but are not limited to: Rock Region METRO (“METRO”) is soliciting proposals from responsible and qualified firms (Proposers/Vendors) offering the functionality and capabilities identified to replace METROs existing CAD/AVL system and to provide additional Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) functionalities. METRO seeks a Proposer with the experience, expertise, and qualifications to provide a fully integrated, ADA compliant, ITS solution. This document is intended to specify ITS hardware and software that will be procured, deployed and maintained by METRO through their ITS program. The hardware and software discussed herein is intended to provide METRO’s staff with better fleet and service information while helping operators and managers operate the system more efficiently. Further, the hardware and software will ensure better and timelier information for METRO’s customers.
