Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Demolition of existing timber, concrete and steel docks and mooring dolphins 2. Abatement and Demolition of the existing ore loader superstructure 3. Removal and reconstruction of narrow-gauge rail tracks 4. Demolition of existing pavement on lead-contaminated soils. 5. Removal, handling, stabilization, containment and disposal of lead-contaminated soils 6. Installation of a 12 foot wide seawalk along the top of the existing bank 7. Installation of five new mooring dolphins a. This includes three dolphins in water over 100 feet deep with 48” and 42” diameter piles 8. Partial demolition and reinforcement of three existing mooring dolphins 9. Construction of a new cruise operations access trestle structure with steel piles and precast concrete deck panels 10. Installation of steel guide piles and installation of a Cruise float procured by MOS 11. Fabrication, delivery and installation of a 120’ by 22’-0” steel orthotropic bridge for cruise dock operations 12. Installation of a temporary fueling header to allow barge based fueling operations during construction at the adjacent Broadway Dock 13. Electrical work including: a. Replacement of overhead power lines with an in-ground duct bank b. Installation of new lighting and power to docks and cruise float c. Installation of new capstans at the cruise dock and dolphins. 14. Pickup and delivery of MOS procured items in the Seattle area including: a. Steel Piles b. 500’ Steel Pontoon Cruise Dock Float built by Transpac Marinas (Anacortes WA) 15. Underwater installation of anodes on piles 16. Installation of a fuel header dock structure and contractor designed pipe bridge 17. The contractor shall supply a vessel at a time for marine mammal monitoring capable of safe operations in typical winter conditions. The vessel shall be ocean-going and a minimum of 40 feet in length with a heated cabin.
