Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Municipal Court is looking to contract with psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric social workers, advanced practice registered nurses with the psychiatric training and experience prescribed by the State Board of Nursing pursuant to NRS 632.120, or other persons especially qualified by the Department of Health and Human Services to conduct competency evaluations of inmates awaiting court hearings at the North Las Vegas Community Corrections Center. Competency evaluations are ordered as needed, and require the evaluator to meet with the defendant at the Community Corrections Center within two days of the order being sent, and the written competency evaluation is to be returned to the Court within two days of the evaluation interview
