Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Hood Cleaning Services shall be provided during the summer, Spring Break, or winter recess when Nutrition Services staff is not on duty (between the hours of 2:30PM and 5:00PM on normal school days). Services shall not occur on OPS recognized holidays, snow days, or weekends. When a school is undergoing construction or providing summer meals, the Services shall take place at the earliest possible time when the kitchen is not in use. Specific available dates shall be provided to Contractor by District prior to the Services being performed. B. Coordination and scheduling of the Services for hoods in the kitchens as designated by Nutrition Services will be through the Nutrition Services Department and in the kitchens as designated by Nutrition Services. (1) If scheduled delays are foreseen: (a) The District must be notified within 24 hours of Contractor’s knowledge of such a delay. (b) Contractor shall keep the District advised of the status of Services scheduled. (c) Contractor shall consistently meet contracted service schedule(s). (2) Contractor performing work in the kitchen must wear an official photo identification badge issued by the Contractor in an easily visible location on their uniform at all times while performing work. C. Services for each facility are required to be performed once per year, or more frequently if requested by Nutrition Services.
