Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Administrative Office of State Courts (“AOSC”) and the Rhode Island Judiciary’s Diversity Office is seeking a company (the “Vendor”) to provide a license to operate a Learning Management System (“LMS”) platform that will provide education and training to judicial officers and judicial employees on the topics of cultural competency, trauma-informed practices, bias, systemic inequities, and inclusive practices. The LMS should help aid the Diversity Office in building a more inclusive workplace culture. 1. Subject Matter Focus Areas • Diversity/Equity and Inclusion; o LMS should train users to recognize microaggressions and self-bias as well as provide best practices to guard against them. o LMS should help promote a culture of individual responsibility as a key element of systemic change. o LMS should train users to recognize instances of harassment including, but not limited to, cyberbullying, verbal abuse, physical harassment, gender harassment, workplace violence, sexual harassment, and other discriminatory harassment. o LMS should provide definitions for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion dialogue and terminology such as: Intersectionality, Implicit Bias, Microaggressions, Diversity, Equity, Discrimination.
