Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to partner with one or more organizations that will provide in-person programming to first-generation-to-college Montgomery County Public Schools students and their families for Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), financial literacy, college and career awareness and planning. Services for students in grades 9-12 should include advising and/or counseling to assist students with navigating the complexities of the college admissions process and financial aid applications; how to find and apply for scholarships; and financial literacy presentations. The programming plan for students in grades 9 -10 should include college and career development and graduation planning opportunities. This RFP seeks partners who provide services during out-of-school time (OST) such as college information sessions. Ultimately, this project seeks to increase access and participation among traditionally underrepresented students in preparing for future success in college, careers, and high-demand jobs of the future.
