Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project starts at the north end of the bridge approach over the railroad and extends north to the intersection of SR 44. This work includes, but is not limited to, milling and resurfacing the existing pavement for the length of the project. This will be a three-lane section. One through lane in each direction and a two way left turn lane. From Eberhart Dr to Spruce St., widening of the existing roadway will be required to the west and east. New sidewalk will be required on the west side and a new shared-use path will be installed on the east side. New curb and gutter and drainage structures will also be installed. Utility relocation will also be needed on this portion of the project. From Spruce St. to Hemlock St., the existing west edge of pavement, curb, and sidewalk will be maintained. All widening will be to the east. This will have a paved shoulder, a grass buffer strip, and continuation of the shared use path. Swales and drainage inlets will be installed on the east. From Hemlock St. to SR 44, only milling and resurfacing of the existing roadway will be done. Only a small section of sidewalk on the east will be constructed to connect the existing shared-use path to the existing sidewalk at SR 44. Along SR 44, widening and new sidewalk will be done for a new right turn lane. A new signal head and phasing on the existing signal will be required for the addition of the turn lane. All curb ramps along the project will be updated, as needed, for ADA compliance.
