Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 The Uncle Sam Jam for 2023 will be held on Monday, July 3, 2023 with a rainout date of Wednesday, July 5, 2023. 2.2 Time of service shall be from 3:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. 2.3 The number of security guards needed is sixteen (16). 2.4 Location of the Uncle Jam Sam and security services is at Oak Lake Park, Lincoln, NE. 2.5 Consultants shall perform all services in a professional manner using a level of skill, judgment, and care that one would expect from a professional security company. 2.5.1 We are requesting these consultants/guards to be armed during these services. 2.6 Consultant shall furnish at its expense all labor, materials, uniforms, and equipment needed to perform its services. 2.7 Consultant shall provide security officers as needed by the City. 2.7.1 Shifts worked by officers shall be subject to a 4-hour minimum. 2.8 Consultant shall utilize active law enforcement officers and certified law enforcement officers to provide its security services. 2.9. City will pay an hourly rate for services performed under this agreement. 2.9.1 Holidays (Independence Day) will be billed at time and one half.
