Specifications include, but are not limited to: Train 120 early childhood professionals to become facilitators of an attachment based parenting education program that trains professionals to become facilitators who will then support home visiting families in building and sustaining positive attachment with their children. The timeline is tight as we will need the training to be provided for statewide professionals, so accommodations, food, materials need to be provided, training must be provided and billed down to the Department by May 31, 2023. Bidder must be an internationally recognized entity with a history of providing a caregiver protocol with an evidence-based curriculum, which focuses on the reflective capacity of the caregiver. This reflection would positively influence a change in the dynamic between the adult and child(ren) in their care. At the end of the Facilitator training, the Facilitator who has met the learning outcomes will be able to: · Identify the fundamentals of attachment theory and key concepts of the approach. · Identify the features of a safe learning environment for caregivers. · Identify the ways in which a Facilitator can teach caregivers to focus on the quality of relationship enhancement rather than behavior management. · Identify steps the Facilitator can take to build self-reflection in caregivers. · Explain how to facilitate the model using video examples of parent-child relationships, a facilitator manual, and handouts. Tuition should include: · Four days of in-person training presented by a Licensed Parenting Trainer, for a total of 24 seat hours · Parenting DVD/USB for follow up reference · Parenting Training Manual · Relevant Parent Handouts · Upon completion of the training, issuance of a recognized license to facilitate provided to caregivers · Training should be approved for 2.4 IACET seat credits
