Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department’s Division of Family and Community Services (FACS) is seeking a Contractor to provide supervised visitation and transportation services for foster children having contact with specified family or fictive kin; interventions to ensure safety of children; and parent coaching to improve the quality of interactions and skills of parents. These services must be provided throughout the geographic territory of the Department’s Region 6 service area, including Butte, Bingham, Bannock, Caribou, Bear Lake, Franklin, Oneida, and Power Counties. Regardless of the level of supervision needed, all visitation sites should provide for adequate space and activities to stimulate family interactions. Trained staff are expected to provide these services to each family one (1) or more times per week, for visits ranging from one to six (1-6) hours or more a day in duration, at hours convenient to the family and resource family. Convenient hours include weekdays, weekends, and evenings. The Contractor is required to communicate monthly with the Department’s referring worker to confirm continued need, level, and frequency of the established visitation schedule.
