Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Central Arkansas is seeking to obtain competitive proposals for a Private Pilot Program. The contractor shall provide a Private Pilot Program in accordance with all terms and conditions contained herein. The objective of the Aviation program is to prepare students for responsible positions in the air transportation industry, including airline operations and management, corporate aviation, airport management and government operations. The goal of the program is to equip students with adequate knowledge and skills in aviation and management in order to compete in the rapidly changing and highly competitive field of aviation. UCA intends to offer a certificate in Private Pilot beginning with the fall 2024 semester. The Private Pilot program will emphasize training in single engine aircrafts. An advantage to the University program is the development of effective professional pilots through the development of professional flight instructors.
