Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project manager will provide project/event management/planning services, which may also include contract negotiations/management, vendor management, programming, on site coordination, budgeting and implementing services. The project manager will work in conjunction with the Alabama Office of Minority Affairs on the execution of the event. The project manager will work closely with and will receive regular direction from the Alabama Office of Minority Affairs. The responsibilities under this contract may include, but are not limited to the following services: establishing regular, ongoing communication with the Alabama Office of Minority Affairs, HBCU/Predominantly Black Community Colleges’ presidents, liaisons and students, Co-Op employers and potential employers; creating and organizing list of contacts for the event; drafting, managing, and finalizing planning timelines with applicable deadlines, project plans, budgets, deployment of schedule and execution of tasks; securing venue(s) for event; maintaining event budget spreadsheet of costs and managing submission of invoices; creating schedule/program for event; contacting guests and speakers; and creating report of event data after the completion of the event.
