Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1: Electrical Engineering The Contractor will provide professional engineering services to design airport lighting and electrical systems. The existing systems are being replaced or upgraded and work may include select airport lighting components, entire airport lighting systems, electrical utility replacement or modification, and other electrical system upgrades or modifications on the airport. The systems shall meet FAA design criteria. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, site visit and report, review PS&E, and final PS&E. The Department will provide civil PS&E plans to the selected Contractor to assist with the development of electrical plans. Task 2: Survey services The Contractor will provide services for a design survey, including a bathymetry survey to support the Department led coastal erosion design. Services required include, but not limited to, design surveys for civil improvements, potential boundary surveys, and records of survey. Task 3: Wetlands services The Contractor shall be expected to provide wetland and habitat delineation and mapping as required. Services required include, but are not limited to, wetlands delineation, habitat assessment, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) database mapping. The Department has provided wetlands data on record as supplemental information, in Attachment 1 zip file. The Department may request assistance with permitting. Task 4: Bidding and Construction Assistance The Contractor will assist the Department during the advertising, bidding, and construction process by answering questions, assisting in the preparation of addenda related to the airport design, and all design support activities after construction contract award through PSA final release as required.
