Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Rhode Island is seeking proposals for MPA 401, Shredding Service, On and Off Site to establish a multi-year contract for document and media destruction services as a regular scheduled service or as needed on-demand, both on and off site for the State of Rhode Island. Awarded vendor must ensure the security containers are to be serviced by bonded, professional drivers who will have proper ID visible. Awarded vendor must supply locked containers at no charge to store confidential material safely. Awarded vendor must supply acceptable Certification of Destruction in compliance with FACTA and HIPPA. The prices proposed by the bidder(s) shall remain fixed and firm for no less than three (3) years from the award of the contract. Prices shall be inclusive of all costs, transportation charges, and fees involved in providing the specified services. Awarded vendor must have the capability to invoice the State electronically. Bidders must furnish a resume of their business to include the date the business was established under current name and the size of the company including the total number of employees. The awarded vendor and the present vendor are responsible for the smooth transfer of service. Awarded vendor may market this contract to cities, towns, and schools which have historically used these services.
