Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work is to provide materials and labor to install pedestrian traffic signals. The City is seeking a Contractor that is a registered Contractor with the State of Arkansas for the purpose of providing an installation of a High intensity Activated CrossWalK, which will be referred to as the HAWK system per the plans and specifications provided in the Attachments Tab or approved equivalent. The City of Hot Springs reserves the right to award the sections that are within the budget available for the project. The equipment shall be new, current design production model, and available to the commercial market. The bid shall include one copy of the manufacturer's published specification and warranty. The City reserves the right to review the manufacturer's specifications and to choose the unit deemed to be in the City's best interest. The City of Hot Springs reserves the right to award the sections that are within the budget available. The equipment shall comply with all state and federal safety requirements. 1. Provide a full installation of the HAWK system per the specified plans and Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department Standard Specifications Section 700 latest edition. 2. The Contractor shall remove the existing RFFB flasher, which is currently installed at this location and salvage the material back to City in good working condition Traffic Operations Division. 3. Provide City with a traffic control plan for all phases of the removal and installation process of the HAWK system per Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department Standard Specifications Section 600 latest edition. Crosswalks shall be closed during the construction process until operational and accepted by the City. 4. Proper disposal of all damaged material. 5. Provide the name and phone number of one (1) Contractor supervisor and one (1) designated alternate who may be contacted twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week to respond to issues due to the construction process. Contact shall respond to emergency services within fifteen (15) minutes of receiving the call and respond to the job site within one (1) hour of response to emergency services. 6. A timing coordination plan shall be provided by the City. 7. The construction period from the notice to proceed to completion shall be sixty (60) days unless otherwise approved by the City due to supply chain issues.
