Specifications include, but are not limited to: ❖Lafayette Parish School System is a PreK-12 School System in Lafayette, LA.❖Fifty (50) District sites throughout Lafayette Parish.❖All active employees, and their eligible dependents, working a minimum or (30) thirtyhours per week, and all Bus Drivers, Bus Attendants and Board Members who work aminimum of (15) fifteen hours per week are eligible for enrollment.❖Voluntary Benefits are effective on the first of the month following (30) thirty days ofemployment.❖Voluntary Benefits are elected by the employee and deducted monthly per the District’sPayroll schedule.❖LPSS uses a face-to-face group session for the New Hire Teacher Orientation only. Thisonboarding event typically has 250 or more new hires and is held during the month ofAugust annually. This event requires the TPA to give a presentation regarding thevoluntary benefits offered by the District.
