Specifications include, but are not limited to: Proposals are being accepted from vendors to coordinate, conduct, supervise and monitor interviews for the 2023 North Dakota Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (ND BRFSS) in accordance with ND BRFSS and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention protocols. Conduct the CDC designated core survey modules for 2023: nine CDC-supported optional modules (Prediabetes; Diabetes; Cognitive Decline; Other Tobacco Use; Industry and Occupation; Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI); COVID Vaccination; Social Determinants and Health Equity; and Reactions to Race, and 15 state-added questions in six modules (ND Residence – 1 question, ND Occupation – 4 questions, ND Indian Health – 4 questions, ND Social Context – 3 questions, ND Other Tobacco Items (Modified) – 1 question, and ND Healthcare Access – 2 questions). Approximately 100 surveys will be completed per month for the BRFSS landline survey. The total sample size is 1,200 completed landline surveys. The landline survey will be interviews of North Dakota residents ages 18 and older. Approximately 400 surveys per month for the BRFSS cell phone survey with a target of 140 from cell phone only respondents. in order to adhere to the CDC recommendations of 35% cell phone only respondents. This target is negotiable dependent on factors outside the Contractor and Department control. The total sample size is 4,800 completed cell phone surveys. The cell phone survey will be interviews of North Dakota residents ages 18 and older. The Contractor should make every attempt to complete 85% of the cell phone completes (N=340) by the 21st of each month.
