The 188th Wing, Arkansas Air National Guard, is issuing an
Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for
services, non-personal- to provide all plant, labor, transportation,
materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary
for the repair of the base swimming pool and pool facilities located
at the 188th Wing in Fort Smith, AR (Sebastian County). The
contract duration will be 210 days after a Notice to Proceed is
issued. This project is solicited as UNRESTRICTED. The North
American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 238990,
with a size standard of $16,500.000.00. The magnitude of this
project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
The tentative date for the pre-bid conference/site visit is on-or about
2 SEPTEMBER 2021, 1000 a.m. CST, location will be in the
solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and
shall follow conference registration and base access requirements
listed within the solicitation document.
The bid opening date is scheduled for on-or-about 21 SEPTEMBER 2021.
Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation.
Interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award
Management (www.sam.gov). To register, you will need your DUNS
number register. Instructions for registering are on the web page
and there is no fee to register.
The solicitation and associated information will only be available
from the Contracting Opportunities website on-line at
https://www.sam.gov. Contracting Oppurtunities is a web based
tool designed to safeguard acqisition-related information for all
Federal agencies. Interested bidders/offerors must register with
Contract Opportunities before accessing the system. (Please
note the registration for access to the secure site takes
approximately 15 business days. PLAN ACCORDINGLY)
Reference paragraph 4.7 of the Vendor Guide for instructions to
obtain a MPIN to retrieve the specification and drawing
documents. Contractors who do not already have a MPIN are
advised that the normal processing is 7 to 12 business days
to obtain a MPIN password that will give them access to the plans
and specifications, which are located in the
controlled access location on FBO. See video in vendor guide at 3.3
on advanced functions for other information.
Bidders/offerors who have registered with Contract Opportunities
must access the data for this solicitation with their MPIN.
Bidders/offerors cannot log into the Contract Opportunities home
page and search for data. DISCLAIMER: The official plans
