Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall install HOT SPRAY thermoplastic pavement markings in accordance with, and in conformance with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, and Amendments included elsewhere in this contract, NCDOT Roadway Standard Drawings, and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The work covered by this special provision consists of marking the pavement surface with pavement markings to direct and control the movement of traffic and shall consist of remarking existing markings at locations specified herein. The Contractor shall furnish all services, labor, and equipment necessary for the required pavement preparation and pavement marking installation. Sufficient personnel experienced in the handling and application of the material shall be provided to assure work is done properly. The Contractor shall install the following markings with HOT SPRAY thermoplastic. The items below will be measured in cost per each.
