Specifications include, but are not limited to: Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is proposing to construct an additional inside lane to allow general purpose traffic to pass trucks and other slow vehicles using the existing outside lane of I-15 while climbing the grade from Clark County Milepost 82.11 to 83.45. I-15 currently has two lanes of traffic for each direction and this added inside lane will be on the northbound side of the highway. The posted speed on I-15 is 75 mph. The project will include constructing the extension of existing drainage facilities and the embankment for the widening to provide the inside lane. In addition, the project will address a drainage erosion issue on the outside of the northbound direction of I-15 by constructing a ripraplined channel.
