Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bartlett Regional Hospital (BRH, Bartlett, or Hospital); an enterprise fund of the City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ or City) is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors who perform and/or specialize in Collection Agency Services for hospitals or healthcare providers The awarded Contractor will be expected to collect on certain outstanding BRH trade accounts designated as “bad debt” receivables from patients, guarantors, or other entities; together known as “debtors.” BRH intends to enter into a term contract with the successful proposer to begin collection services of new receivables classified as bad debt. The selected Contractor will receive a negotiated structured commission as payment for its collection activities or services based on collected cash received from debtors.
