Specific tasks to be performed by the Design/Build Entity (D/B) include those generally performed by the D/B construction community where the Designer is also the Contractor. The proposed design phases are listed below with expected deliverables & milestones (in addition to the Design Services listed in the SC-9.0 Design/Build GMP Agreement): Pre-Design • University requires Pre-Design phase to 1) test garage scope and size options and 2) to explore multiple options and determine preferred architectural language and material palette for each garage. • Pre-Design phase to include scope for Design Build Entity to explore Additional Alternate options the university would like to consider. Additional Alternate options include 1) Canopy or roof structure to support future photovoltaic system, 2) separate 30,000 ASF structure adjacent to MC2 garage to house Parking Services administrative program needs, and 3) liner building with either academic/administrative/retail programming or faculty/staff housing at building façade along Colorado Avenue for MC2 or 17th Street for NBC .
