Specifications include, but are not limited to: Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) is seeking Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from engineering firms qualified to perform design and construction contract administration services for the rehabilitation of a canal jetty, replacement of canal intake gates, and additional canal improvements. The project is located adjacent to DNRC’s Broadwater Dam Project (Project) approximately four miles southeast of Toston, MT on the Missouri River. The goal of the project is to provide sustainable irrigation delivery while mitigating debris and sedimentation entrainment coupled with safety improvements to the canal system. The consultant’s work will generally consist of familiarizing themselves with existing information, meeting with stakeholders, preliminary engineering data collection and evaluations, civil engineering design, preparing plans, specifications and estimate packages (PS&E), assisting with project bidding, providing construction contract administration and inspection services, and submittal of a final construction report to document implemented project improvements.
