Specifications include, but are not limited to: University of New Mexico Health System (UNM HS) and the UNM School of Medicine has recently completed an assessment of funds flow model and faculty compensation plan that has shown opportunities to improve alignment of the current models to our overall institutional goals and industryleading practices. We are now seeking qualified firms to support the development and implementation of a new model for the clinical funds flow for professional services and mission support between the UNM Health System clinical entities, which include UNM Hospital, UNM Medical Group and Sandoval Regional Medical Center, and the UNM School of Medicine. This new approach will also include developing new or modified model of the compensation structure for the UNM School of Medicine clinical faculty. Funds Flow: • Develop and implement a 12-18 month work-plan, with clear key recommended deliverables. • Determine, describe and recommend the preferred inter-entity funds flow approach. • Construct model of inter-entity funds flow. • Develop pro-forma that includes comparison to current state and industry benchmarks. • Determine infrastructure, tools, processes, and general cost estimates to implement and maintain the recommended funds flow model. • Develop and support an implementation process and timeline to include the stages provided below, with all key tasks, responsible parties, and deliverables: o Transition period, o Evaluation methodology and metrics, and o Process for modification and risk mitigation. • Develop and support implementation of a plan for communications, change management, and training. For School of Medicine Clinical Faculty Compensation: • Develop and support implementation of a 12-18 month work-plan. • Develop clinical faculty effort standards for all mission areas. • Develop an updated or new model of clinical faculty compensation plan to include guaranteed, variable, or incentive components of compensation. • Develop pro-forma of revised compensation plan to include comparison to current state and industry benchmarks. • Determine infrastructure, tools, and processes to implement new clinical faculty compensation flow model.
