Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected Design Firm’s Project Manager / Engineer of Record, working with the Borough, will develop the project scope, design, provide project oversight, and administration services during construction. The Engineer of Record of the selected Design Firm shall be registered as an electrical engineer and licensed to do business in the State of Alaska. The responding Design Firm must have extensive experience in power grid design, engineering, and construction administration oversight. This experience should be in respect to major power distribution grid replacement and upgrade projects in remote Alaska coastal communities similar to Point Lay. Selection will be based on, but not limited to, prior successful projects delivered in remote rural communities similar to Point Lay
