Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Wichita requests formal bids from vendors who will supply the materials associated with barrier netting systems to be installed between existing synthetic turf athletic fields at the Scheels Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, KS. The purpose of the netting is to reduce the number of overplayed balls that carry from the athletic field of play. The City intends to solicit contractor bids for the installation of the procured barrier netting system. Bid is for material only, no installation. The vendor shall supply all materials required to install and operate barrier netting systems. This shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, netting, posts, and associated cabling, fasteners, hardware, etc. as required for the total installation of barrier netting adjacent to ten (10) outdoor athletic fields. The system shall be complete and designed to function long-term in Wichita, KS.
