Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.1. The State of Vermont and its various departments and agencies seek contractor(s) to provide courier services based on the routes listed in Attachment D and the requirements below. The list of agencies and departments requiring courier services includes, but is not limited to: the Vermont Department of Health, Agency of Human Services, The Department of Environmental Conservation, Department of Forests, Parks, & Recreation, Department of Motor Vehicles, and Agency of Agriculture, Food, and Markets 2.1.2. The established routes vary in need from established daily or weekly routes at specified days and times, as-needed routes, and will also allow agencies to establish a statement of work for routes that address an arising need. 2.1.3. Pickup times (to be mutually agreed upon) at the given locations must be adhered to within + thirty (30) minutes. Pickup points must be contacted at least 15 minutes in advance of their established pickup time if for whatever reason the pickup is delayed. 2.1.4. The confidential nature of transported documents for some routes shall require the contractor to be in compliance with the confidentiality policies or other requirements of the Department or Agency for whom the services are being performed. See Attachments E, F, and G. 2.1.5. Upon request by an agency or division the contractor shall submit a report with each invoice that includes the dates and offices where courier services were picked up. The report format will be sorted by division, location, and then pickup date. 2.1.6. Contractor(s) shall describe in detail on the price schedule how pickup/delivery service of a nonrecurring nature (not in an established scheduled) are initiated – and what the associated cost would be. 2.1.7. Contractor(s) shall describe in detail on the price schedule how “Expedited Service” requiring sameday pickup and delivery are initiated – and what the associated cost would be. 2.1.8. Contractor(s) shall describe in detail on the price schedule how “Excess Weight Service” requiring courier service for a package weighing greater than 50 lbs – and what the associated cost would be.
