Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide labor, material, and any necessary equipment to paint exterior walls, metal trim, and concrete blocks. The paint type shall be: Concrete Block- Sherwin Williams masonry (elastomeric) paint Metal paint (windows, doors, railing, etc.)- Sherwin Williams Duration Exterior The paint color shall be: Concrete Block- Tan and Red (matching the exterior metal sheets of the new addition) Metal- Green (matching exterior door of the new addition) All paint shall be fade-resistant and shall additives upon approval. Any paint type other than the specified paint requires approval, depending on the type of material applied. All surfaces shall be prepped prior to painting; this includes removing any loose paint/scales on existing walls. All cracks in the block shall be sealed prior to paint. The painting process shall apply a primer coat and two (2) coats of primary paint color. Spraying walls is acceptable, but back rolling may be required depending on coverage. All work shall be done during normal working hours. Any work requiring scaffolding or lifts shall be set up. So that fire engines can still respond out of the stations. Clean up the job site at the end of each day and at the end of the job is required unless otherwise approved. The Contractor shall provide power, lighting, and storage of materials unless otherwise approved. The Contractor must be licensed and insured.
