Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District is seeking materials specified in the RFP Documents from qualified and experienced publishing Firms that can provide English Language Arts hardcopy or digital textbooks and resources to be used in the District’s Grades 6-12 English Language Arts courses, including electives, honors, Advanced Placement and Spanish/English Dual Language Program courses (“Materials”). The proposals and the Materials submitted will be evaluated by District’s evaluation committee. The evaluation committee will choose the Firm or Firms whose Materials will be field tested. Following field testing, the evaluation committee will make a recommendation to the Board of Education regarding which Firm or Firms should be awarded a contract to provide the Materials for these programs. The Board will make the final decision as to which Firm or Firms, if any, will be selected to supply the Materials. Once a satisfactory contract is negotiated by the District and the selected Firm or Firms, that contract or contracts will be presented to the Board of Education for approval.
