Specifications include, but are not limited to: the State of Nebraska, Department of Transportation (NDOT), is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Dynamic Lane Management. NDOT is planning a Dynamic Lane Management deployment program in the Omaha area. We are looking for consulting help for a systems engineering evaluation, leading to the creation of the project scoping document. SOFTWARE AND EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS 1. Microsoft office suite is expected to satisfy the project deliverables needs. 2. If needed NDOT ATMS (IRIS, open-source software) can be made available for testing. 1. Systems Engineering Documents approved by NE FHWA a. Draft and Final documents including Project Plan, Systems Engineering Management Plan, Concept of Operations, Requirements and Verification Plans and Validation Plan. b. Draft documents shall be submitted in word, FHWA submissions will be in PDF format. 2. Consultant and NDOT team will draft and review submissions for each document in the process. Each document will have formal submission to NE FHWA for comment and approval. 3. Consulting and NDOT team will conduct multiple stakeholder meetings with internal and external partners. 4. Consulting team will assemble documentation from other states on similar Dynamic Lane Management deployments as models for Nebraska deployment. 5. Project is expected to be complete within 6 months upon notice to proceed. 6. Consultant will assist with authoring of project scoping document based on Systems Engineering results.
