Specifications include, but are not limited to: The West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) Office of Teaching and Learning is soliciting bids to establish a contract for plagiarism detection software. 4.1.1.1 Plagiarism Detection Software must fully integrate and maintain compatibility with Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) with Brightspace by Desire2Learn LMS and Instructure (Canvas). 4.1.1.2 Plagiarism Detection Software must be capable of similarity detection of student work submissions. 4.1.1.3 Plagiarism Detection Software must be able to check submissions against repository of students submitted WV Learns papers/assignments. 4.1.1.4 Plagiarism Detection Software source database must include: web sources, researchjournals, electronic encyclopedias, textbooks, education and reference materials, published sources and student papers/assignments. 4.1.1.5 Plagiarism Detection Software source databases must be continuously updated with content with a non-third-party web crawler. 4.1.1.6 Plagiarism Detection Software must provide reporting options such as restricting specific database, exclusion of references and quoted materials and different reporting formats.
