Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Public Works (DPW), Parks, Recreation, and Cemetery Division (PRC) recognizes the need for the expansion of the Pine Grove Cemetery. The successful Bidder will provide professional land surveying services to the project and will provide a project manager to coordinate with the City. Bidders should submit a firm maximum price based on the following outline of general project parameters. 1. Provide construction layout services and survey site control for the newly cleared and leveled area. a. See appendix for drawings. b. CAD file is available for use by successful Bidder. 2. Install five hundred twenty-nine (529) cemetery lot markers and pins for the cemetery expansion project. a. Lot Marker: A numbered, 4" round cast aluminum lot marker with a 9” three spline stake used by the cemetery to locate the northeast corner of the lot or space at ground level. i. Three hundred thirty-two marked 1718 thru 2049 b. Lot Pin: A 4" round cast aluminum lot marker with a 9” three spline stake used by the cemetery to locate corners of the lot or space below ground level. i. These will either have a T or an L imprinted on the pin. ii. Abutting sides of the plot share pins. iii. L’s and T’s are used to show paths and endings of plot areas with no abutting plot. c. The City will provide the lot markers and pins to be set. d. Initial demonstration of the installation process can be provided by the Cemetery Superintendent. e. Markers will be pre-cast, numbered, and organized by the City and/or Cemetery Superintendent prior to performing the site layout. f. The City estimates each marker requires 20 minutes+/- to install along with preparation time, office management, travel time, and field expenses. 3. All work is expected to take place in one phase after the City’s Highway department has constructed the new road and graded the plot area.
