Specifications include, but are not limited to: AUXILIARY ENGINE: The engine shall be CUMMINS, JOHN DEERE, or CATERPILLAR. Emissions shall be Tier IV final and not require DEF fluid and/or regeneration. Minimum Horsepower: 74 HP. Air cleaner: Dual element, dry type, with pre-cleaner. The engine shall have lockable covers to prevent vandalism. Fuel tank: Minimum 30 gallons with locking cap. FRAME: Shall have WELDCO-BEALES WLKAT or CWS, HENKE, PSM coupler capable of connecting to our existing WLKAT loader couplers. Shall have sufficient amount of counterweight for safe operation, minimum 1,100 pounds. The unit’s center of gravity will be no more than 30 inches from the center of the wheel loader at boom full extension and will be centered with the loader when in travel position. BOOM: Boom shall be right side (curbside) mounted for mowing forward and right of the right front tire. Boom length: 25 feet. All pivot points and cylinder attachment points shall be greaseable. Boom Stow System: Shall have a hydraulic lock-up boom stowage system that is operated from the cab. CUTTING HEAD: Unit shall include a 50-inch rotary cutter head. Minimum 1⁄8-inch deck and ¼-inch sidewalls. Shall have full-length replaceable abrasion-resistant skid shoes. The cutter head shall rotate 180 degrees around the outer boom, minimum. The cutter shall have a hydraulically controlled safety door that can be closed for increased safety or opened for improved cutting performance. CONTROLS: Joystick and auxiliary engine controls shall be cab mounted and include throttle, hour meter, tachometer, water temp, oil pressure. Auxiliary engine warning lights and shutdowns for low coolant, low oil pressure, and high coolant temp. Harness for cab controls shall be fully protected from abrasion, radio frequency, and water intrusion. All external connections shall be waterproof. All controls shall be fully proportional.
