Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Matanuska Susitna Borough School District (MSBSD) is seeking bids from qualified contractors to upgrade gym floors throughout the MSBSD. The scope includes new game lines, graphics, resurfacing, and refinishing floors. All work will be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices. The contractor is responsible for removal of debris and jobsite cleanup. Any alteration or deviation from written specifications involving extra costs shall only be executed upon a written change order signed by both the contractor and the MSBSD. Each written notice of changed conditions shall be clearly identified as such and shall include an estimate of the cost and the contract time impact of the alleged changed condition. The contractor is responsible for restricting access to the gym areas until the work is completed. Upon completion the contractor shall remove signage and tape from the project area. The contractor is responsible for protecting existing finishes from screening as well as floor coatings. This includes taping and masking areas not being refinished.
