Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Douglas County Health Department (DCHD) is looking for contractors to provide temporary staffing for the following positions: 1. Executive Assistant/Secretary 2. Secretary 3. Clinic Clerk 4. Data Entry Clerk; Employees sent to DCHD will abide by the policies/procedures of DCHD, including an obligation to immediately report allegations/suspicion of abuse or neglect. DCHD reserves the right to refuse a CONTRACTOR’S employee for any reason and will notify CONTRACTOR of such refusal and of any complaints regarding their employee’s performance. Typical 8-hour shifts are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday. CONTRACTOR agrees to have support staff available to assist DOUGLAS COUNTY with supplemental staffing needs or emergencies involving their employees 24-hours a day, seven days a week. CONTRACTOR will not assign an employee to work a shift at DCHD where DOUGLAS COUNTY would be required to pay overtime wages at time and one-half without the prior approval of DCHD Administration or Douglas County designee. CONTRACTOR will not charge DOUGLAS COUNTY a fee of any type and no penalty will result if a CONTRACTOR’S employee completes an application to work at DOUGLAS COUNTY and is hired. DOUGLAS COUNTY will not charge CONTRACTOR a fee of any type and no penalty will result if a DOUGLAS COUNTY employee completes an application to work at CONTRACTOR and is hired. Under the direction of assigned Supervisor or designee the incumbent performs clerical and receptionist duties for DCHD clinics in compliance with established rules, regulations, clinic manuals and associated program guidelines.
