Specifications include, but are not limited to: Union County, North Carolina, through the Union County Water Department, is soliciting proposals from experienced and qualified firms to provide Bio-Solids Hauling Services. The County maintains four (4) water reclamation facilities (WRF): The County will notify the Contractor in writing, of its intent to add and/or remove facilities from service. Notification of such changes to the Contract will be issued via an Amendment and accepted by both the Contractor and the County. The current list of facilities is below. • Crooked Creek WRF – 4015 Sardis Church Rd, Monroe NC 28110 • Grassy Branch WRF – 1629 Old Fish Rd, Monroe NC 28110 • Tallwood WRF – 4988 Brief Road West, Indian Trail NC 28079 • Olde Sycamore WRF – 10922 Persimmon Creek Dr, Charlotte NC 28227 The selected contractor will haul 3,000-gallon tanker loads between these four WRFs on an as needed basis. Historically, 250-300 loads per year are required from any of the four WRFs to any other.
