Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposals (RFP) is official notification of a proposed Street Construction/Reconstruction project within the right of way of the City of Indianapolis, Indiana (the “Project”). This Project could include the design, construction/reconstruction of streets, sidewalks, curbs, ADA ramps, culverts, traffic signals, multi-use trails, storm water infrastructure and other infrastructure owned by the city of Indianapolis. The Project will also include a five-year duration of operations and maintenance of the assets. DPW intends to procure design, construction/reconstruction, land acquisition, and operations and maintenance of the Project via a Build Operate Transfer (BOT) process pursuant to IC 5- 23 and will be limited to a term of not more than five years. Project delivery is required to be consistent with standards and specifications of the City of Indianapolis (the “City”). Project coordination and status reporting will include the City and its Department of Public Works (DPW). DPW will be responsible for all constructed infrastructure, established easements and long-term operations and maintenance following completion of the Project and established initial period of operations. The City seeks innovative approaches to complete the Project, which implement sustainable cost controls for construction and operations and maintenance of the infrastructure. Per IC 5- 23-4.5-3, all responses to this RFP are confidential unless the person responding waives confidentiality in writing. The name of the person submitting the response is a public record.
