Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when conducting remediation activities. • Proper disposal of waste materials. • Potential removal of previous tenant debris, carpets, sheet vinyl/linoleum, casework and countertops, sheet rock, electrical fixtures and switches, HVAC filters, grilles, registers, wood doors and trim, window sills, window blinds, window screens, and appliances. • Using water-based detergent solution to wash ceilings, walls, floors, shower/bath surrounds, appliances, and other items that may remain in the unit after remediation. • Triple cleaning of windows with a window cleaning solution, using clean cloths between each cleaning, including window trim if not made of wood. • Contracting a professional HVAC duct cleaning contractor to clean duct work. • Encapsulating (painting) washed ceilings, walls, support beams, wood substrate exposed floors, and other items to remain that can be painted, using an oil-based or oil-based polyurethane paints. • Following proper clean up protocols.
