Specifications include, but are not limited to: General Conditions: • The United States Customs and Border Patrol (USCBP) regulate International Refuse storage and disposal. The responding firms must meet federal requirements and be authorized by the USCBP to store and dispose of International waste in the State of Rhode Island. • International Refuse must be stored in a self-contained dumpster with locked covers. Once refuse is added to the dumpster it must be disposed of within 72 hours and incinerated with proper disposal documentation provided to RIAC and USCBP. • International Refuse is generated all year depending on flight schedules and General Aviation traffic. Specific Services: • Provide one (1), ten (10) yard self-contained dumpster with lockable cover to be located on airport property. • The ability to provide disposal service within 72 hours of notification via email and provide an email response to pick-up notification. • The number of ten (10) yard self-contained dumpsters and frequency of disposal may be adjusted with prior notification, subject to International Flight schedules.
