Specifications include, but are not limited to: Act as the Department’s public liaison for the Maine NBRC programs, being responsible for general communications which may include: Coordination and facilitation of applicant meetings, both pre- and post-application. Respond to potential applicant emails with questions about the alignment of potential projects with Maine funding priorities. Respond to questions about NBRC programs from other stakeholders, including LDD’s, Congressional Delegations, industry organizations, companies, etc. Participation in conferences/meetings where an update of NBRC is requested (e.g., wastewater conference). Provide resource navigation to potential applicants. Coordinate resources, programs, services, and partnerships key to running the Maine NBRC programs (including Catalyst, Forest Economy Program, and others). The program coordinator will work closely with the Department and other NBRC program partners as designated by the Department. Such partners are expected to include, among others: LDD’s (as defined by NBRC) Congressional Delegation Industry organizations Companies, etc. Attend NBRC State Program Manager meetings with the State Program Manager – both virtual and in-person (Vermont, New York, New Hampshire, Maine). Complete necessary paperwork, including reduced award justifications and requests from NBRC for updated lists of stakeholders, technical assistance providers, and LDD contacts. Attend new grantee training with NBRC, the grantees, and the LDDs. Provide QA/QC of the data entry completed by the Support Staff. Coordinate tasks that may be performed by entities within State government or closely connected to State government, such as InforME (e.g., webpage updates). Coordinate required Customer Relationship Management (CRM) updates through InforME as necessary. The program coordinator will be expected to maintain CRM for Maine NBRC communications. Provide monthly reports to the State Program Manager (Director, OBD) and the Department Commissioner on progress made on the Maine NBRC programs. Identify and pursue additional resources needed, as approved by the Department, to implement the economic development effort that is sustained beyond the limited NBRC funding.
