Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Selected Vendor(s) will provide transportation solutions for one or more areas of the state. Those solutions could include arranging rides for the DCPs or providing those rides directly. The vendor may indicate their service area in New Hampshire and is not required to cover the entire state. The Selected Vendor(s) may provide the following services: a. Operate a contact center or point of contact to receive transportation requests from a caseworker/ case manager b. Confirm transportation eligibility through a developed process c. Schedule transportation requests, either on a one-on-one basis or multiple trips at a time d. Approve trips to drug court, drug testing, group therapy, case management meetings, parenting time to include child appointments for Family Treatment court, and probation check-ins consistent with eligibility process e. Ensure transportation is available for all DCPs. Transportation can include, but is not limited to, public transit, taxi, mileage reimbursement, ridesharing and vendor provided transportation f. Ensure the most cost-effective mode of transportation is used for each request for transportation g. Process mileage reimbursement requests after established reimbursement documentation is provided h. Confirm trips through alerts with individuals being transported and the transportation providers i. Transport of adults and children under 17 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 2. The vendor must safely transport DCPs who may have vulnerable medical and/or psychological conditions. 3. The vendor must be available by telephone Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST with the exception of state and federal holidays. If transportation is arranged for a trip outside of these hours there must be a method to contact the transportation provider during the pre-arranged trip period. 4. The vendor must have a process for providing services to Limited English Proficiency (LEP) participants. 5. The selected vendors must establish a grievance and appeal process to address DCP complaints and concerns.
