Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of this contract shall include the recycling and disposal of most, but not all, of the construction/demolition (C/D), inert and rubbish waste (as defined in the Alabama Department of Environmental Management regulations Chapter 335-13-1), and uncontaminated concrete, soil, brick, waste asphalt paving, rock, yard trimmings, leaves, stumps, limbs, construction/demolition waste, and similar materials from the campus of Auburn University, as generated by its employees and contractors engaged in maintenance, operations, and construction activities, in accordance with the terms and conditions enumerated in these specifications, the successful bid, and the resultant contract. Auburn University’s goal is to have at least 85% by weight of all waste received by the Contractor from the University recycled. The Contractor is required to recycle as much as possible of the University's waste. The Contractor shall provide documentation that at least 85% by weight of all waste received from the University is recycled. The Contractor shall provide a listing of how they recycle the materials at their facility. The Contractor will need to supply information to the University representative on alternative methods of collection or demolition that will improve the opportunities for recycling this waste.
