Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. JCCC intends to contract for strength and conditioning training services for the College’s athletics programs for the following sports: 1. Men’s and Women’s Soccer 2. Men’s and Women’s Basketball 3. Men’s Baseball 4. Women’s Softball 5. Women’s Volleyball B. The contractor will provide the following strength training and coaching services for the College’s Athletics Department: 1. Motivate, educate, and improve athlete’s physical performance centered around the three principles of strength and conditioning: overload, progression, and specificity. 2. Challenge athletes in an intense and positive environment to achieve physical output at higher levels. 3. Prioritize foundational and modern physical techniques and movements to increase strength and power. 4. Monitor, evaluate, and provide feedback to athletes and coaches how to increase physical performance, output, and endurance. 5. Establish foundational and modern physical techniques and tailor individual programs to meet the demands of an athlete’s specific sport. C. The contractor will manage athletes in the weight room to include: 1. Teaching foundational and modern physical techniques. 2. Monitor and evaluate athletes to ensure quality workouts and progress. 3. Tailor workouts to help athletes meet the demands of their specific sport. D. The contractor will also provide an established software system that: 1. Allows coaches the ability to build practice plans, depth charts, utilize a team messenger system, and provide access to a team dashboard. 2. Allows coaches the ability to build custom workouts and manage data for their athletes. 3. Access to an app (application) so athletes can track their progress and access workouts. E. The contractor must have a trainer onsite at JCCC facilities Monday through Friday, 12:00pm to 6:00pm, August through May, with the exception for holidays recognized by the College for which the College is closed. F. The contractor must provide qualified, experienced, certified, and licensed coaches and trainers. Verification of credentials to be verified by the College.
